This is due to lack of battery. The main challenge is the difficulty of scaling up production of new 4680 batteries; this leads to increased defect rates and uneven electrode thickness.

All of this limits the production volume, making it impossible to produce large numbers of Cybertrucks.

It is reported that the production process of the brand’s electric pickup truck was delayed due to problems in the production of the batteries that power the vehicle. Tesla is trying to increase battery production, which is delaying the launch of products like the Cybertruck and Semi.

These production delays and difficulties in supplying critical materials threaten the future of Cybertruck, one of Tesla’s most ambitious and anticipated projects.
