This information comes from a leaked iOS 18 source code and confirms previous reports from analyst Jeff Pu. According to the leak, details about four iPhone models identified as D47, D48, D93 and D94 were found in the source code of the system.
It is reported that they are most likely referring to the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models.
Unlike previous launches, where the Base and Plus models received improved previous-generation processors and the Pro series received the latest chipsets, this time Apple is using the same processor across the entire series.
Although the name of the processor is not officially disclosed in iOS source code leaks, it is listed as the t8140 system for all four iPhone 16 models.
