Image recognition service AI or Not becomes an independent company. It will be headed by former American Express Ventures head Anatoly Kvitnitsky. This was announced by the co-founder of the application Roman Doronin.
In April 2023, NFT startup Optic, founded by Roman Doronin, Vladislav Vinogradov, and Andrey Doronichev, launched AI or Not. Determines if the image was created using artificial intelligence technologies or if its author is a human. The service supports jpeg, png, webp, gif, tiff, bmp formats.
According to Doronin, Optic will continue to work in the field of image/information retrieval technologies, but now in the field of biotechnology. The service team recently launched its first product: a search tool for chemists: bioptic.io. It will help you search for similar molecules based on their activity with the protein and not based on their structures, as was the case before. The development of pharmacological molecules is also currently underway.
Optic launched in June 2022. The service allows you to determine the authenticity of an NFT and control its copyright in Web 3.0. Already in July Óptica attracted the first investments worth 11 million dollars.
