Wildberries will begin testing the option to cancel a purchase immediately after placing an order in January. This is how the market wants to protect users from accidental purchases when a product is selected by mistake or the wrong address is specified.

Wildberries will test the option to reject goods in the first hour after payment

In January, a special button will appear in the mobile application and on the website, which will be available in the “Delivery” section next to the product sheet. You can use the button within one hour after placing the order or until the order has assembly status.

Initially, the feature will not apply to all products, as only sellers who stock products in their own warehouses participate in the tests. On the customer side, customers making postpaid purchases will be able to use the option during the trial phase. There are about 80% of these on the market, the company notes.

Those who make prepaid purchases will also have the opportunity to cancel the order. First of all, you can do it by writing by email: [email protected]. In the future, these buyers will also have a button in the app.

In mid-November, following a large-scale audit, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation ordered changes to about 20 operating rules of Wildberries regarding relations with sellers and buyers.
