Tang Tan, who serves as Apple’s vice president of product design, will lead hardware development for LoveFrom’s new artificial intelligence project.
At the new company, he will work alongside Apple chief executive Jony Ive (the former chief designer at Apple who created the look of the iPod, many iPhones, etc.) and OpenAI’s Sam Altman.
They will undertake a new project related to artificial intelligence hardware. This collaboration comes after it was reported in September that Ive and Altman were discussing the possibility of working together on a project integrating OpenAI technologies.
