The Association for the Promotion of Financial Literacy (ARFG) is preparing to propose the creation of an official register of public channels on Telegram. ARFG chairman Veniamin Kaganov said that the idea of such a registry came from bloggers who faced the problem of fraud and theft of their content.
According to Kaganov, many bloggers encounter scammers who copy their content and resell it under their own information. This harms both the creators themselves and their subscribers. The problem is that attackers steal unique materials and use them solely for personal gain.
Kaganov proposes a solution in the form of an official register of bloggers, which would allow creators to voluntarily disclose their data. This registry may use a mechanism to track the original source of published materials through digital fingerprints. Thus, the service can automatically detect channels that copy content and block them in time.
