“Cyan” announced the closing of the transaction for the purchase of the SmartDeal electronic transaction registration service. 100% of the shares of the authorized capital of Praktika Upecha LLC passed to Cian PLC. Since October 2021, SmartDeal and Cyan have jointly developed the Cyan.Deal digital service.
Cian PLC closed the transaction to acquire 100% of the shares of the authorized capital of Praktika Uspecha LLC, a legal entity service for electronic registration of SmartDeal transactions. The companies signed the purchase and sale contract with the approval of the government commission for the control of foreign investment, Cian’s press service reported.
SmartDeal CEO Alexey Makarov will lead transactional business direction in Cyan’s product management department.
The agreement has not yet been reflected in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities: Alexey Makarov and Valery Popandopulo are still listed as equal founders. At the end of 2022, SmartDeal received revenues worth 378.1 million rubles with a net profit of 54.9 million rubles.
In October 2021, Cyan launched the Cyan.Deal digital service, which it developed together with SmartDeal.
SmartDeal (Practice of Success LLC) was founded in 2017.
