LG introduced its new “LG MyView” smart display series and LG CineBeam Qube 4K projector. The launches focus on providing a high-end experience and will be showcased at the CES 2024 electronics show.
The highlight of this time is the LG MyView series. The family consists of three monitor models: 32SR85U, 32SR83U and 32SR70U. all at 4K resolution (3840x2160p), varies only with the intensity of the panel’s brightness.
The entire set features 31.5 inches, 4K resolution on an IPS panel. The brightness of two models is 400cd/m², while the brightness of one model is only 350cd/m². Features such as HDR 10 support, DCI-P3 95% color gamut and 60 Hz refresh rate are available.
The structure of the monitors also attracts attention, their thin edges offer an elegant appearance and save space on the table. Additionally, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity support expands the options of compatible peripherals, creating the foundation for a versatile setup.
Just like smart TVs, LG MyView also has cutting-edge features for content consumption. They all run the webOS 23 system with support for AirPlay 2, ScreenShare and remote control. The 32SR85U model also comes with a detachable webcam (also available for the 32SR83U).
The models are sold in “Essence White”, “light beige”, “cotton pink” and “cotton green” colors.
LG CineBeam Qube
Another recently released product is the LG CineBeam Qube (HU710PB). The 4K projector promises to deliver content in an immersive way, but in a compact, lightweight body with a rotating handle, ready to take the device anywhere.
The device can: It delivers images at 4K resolution (3840x2160p) up to 120 inches. It’s equipped with an RGB laser light source that emits “exceptionally clear and sharp” images that cover a 450,000:1 contrast ratio, 154% DCI-P3, and HDR 10 color gamut, according to LG.
CineBeam Qube also has smart TV functions. The projector runs the webOS 6.0 system, which is compatible with streaming services (e.g. Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and YouTube). Adjustment tools such as autofocus and size adjustment are also available.
It will be exhibited at CES 2024
All models offered by LG will be showcased at CES 2024 before arriving in stores. The models will appear alongside new AI-enabled QNED TVs and LG gram laptops.
