Shift Robotics has unveiled Moonwalkers
An evolution of the original Moonwalkers, Moonwalkers
A major improvement is also the adaptability of the new model to smaller shoe sizes, making them ideal for commercial use, writes VentureBeat.
Xiongjie Zhang, CEO of Shift Robotics, said the Moonwalkers X’s updated transmission, magnesium alloy frame and shock-absorbing wheels “ensure the smoothest and most efficient navigation possible in the warehouse.”
The company claims that robotic shoes increase the speed of personnel in the field of distribution, logistics and warehouse control (and these people take at least 30 thousand steps a day). Together with the speed of movement, the efficiency of workers consequently increases by approximately double (savings of almost 400 hours per year).
Moonwalkers Shift Robotics also announced that it has allocated a limited number of Moonwalkers
