Last year, Russian citizens registered 255 companies in Antalya, Türkiye. This is three times more than the number of companies founded by representatives of Germany, which took second place in the creation of business structures with foreign participation.
As TASS reports, citing data from the Antalya Chamber of Commerce, in 2023 a total of 791 companies were registered in the complex by foreigners. Citizens of Germany created 83 companies during the year, citizens of Iran – 64, citizens of Ukraine – 53 and citizens of Azerbaijan – 42.
The construction sector became the most popular: 71 companies with foreign participation were registered in it. Among the three most popular sectors are also computing (57), as well as restaurants and entertainment (53).
At the end of 2023, there were 62,000 business organizations in Antalya, of which 6,1,000 were created by foreign citizens.
Last fall, the Turkish authorities tightened the rules for obtaining a residence permit: if previously, to obtain a residence permit, a foreigner had to buy real estate worth between $50,000 and $75,000, now the minimum amount is $200,000. Dollars.
