Nvidia introduces RTX 40 Super graphics cards at CES 2024! Discover models

After many rumors and leaks, Nvidia officially confirmed the RTX 40 Super series during CES 2024. The company’s new graphics cards are RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super.

The new models promise to deliver improved performance in games, productivity apps, and also in Nvidia’s new main focus: artificial intelligence. The first models of the new series start to hit the market on January 24.

As for the price, prices start at $599 in the United States. Official values ​​in Brazil have not yet been announced, but they are expected to be released soon by Nvidia and partner retailers.

“For everyone from gamers to creative professionals, GeForce RTX SUPER GPUs are incredible upgrades,” says Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global marketing for GPU brand GeForce. “GeForce RTX SUPER graphics cards support more than 500 RTX games and software and will prepare users for the wave of productive AI applications coming to PC.”

RTX 4080 Super

RTX 4080 Super, the most powerful model of the new series, has more CUDA cores and faster GGDR6X memory compared to the RTX 4080. The upgrade promises to guarantee performance improvements in both games with RTX and creative and productivity tasks.

• More CUDA cores than the standard RTX 4080;
• World’s fastest 23 Gbps GGDR6X memory, surpassing RTX 4080;
• The power to play games in 4K with Ray Tracing solutions;
• 70% gain over the previous generation in 3D applications such as Blender;

The RTX 4080 Super is scheduled to be released overseas on January 31; Available in the Founders Edition version and at a suggested price of $999 from partner manufacturers.

RTX 4070 Ti Super

Developing the 70 series GPUs, the RTX 4070 Ti also promises to reach the market with more CUDA cores and improved performance in both games and artificial intelligence. See the highlights below:

• More CUDA cores than the standard RTX 4070;
• Framebuffered memory increased to 16 GB and 256-bit bus
• 1.6x speed increase in rendering and editing compared to RTX 3070 Ti;
• The new GPU brings 2.5 times more performance in heavy games using DLSS 3 compared to the RTX 3070 Ti.

The RTX 4070 Ti Super is scheduled to launch on January 24 on models from partner manufacturers, including factory-overclocked versions.

RTX 4070 Super

To complete the first GPU lineup of the 2024 series, the RTX 4070 Super emphasizes the 1440p experience, bringing improvements for both games and artificial intelligence.

• 20% more CUDA colors over RTX 4070, improving the 1440p experience;
• With DLSS, it’s 1.5x faster than the RTX 3090, using a fraction of the power consumption.

The RTX 4070 Super is scheduled to be released on January 17 and will be priced at $599. Official price and availability in Brazil have not been announced yet.

The price of the previous model in the series will drop when the RTX 4070 Super launches later this month. RTX 4070 will be sold abroad for $549 in the future.
