I know that in our communities the problem is infrequent, but it is critical when lit.
Transferring files from Android to Mac is much easier than fiddling around with iPhone. Below I talk about both methods: wireless and cable.
I’ll say right away that it’s better to look towards the wired output if you need to send something heavier than a half-megabyte picture.
Transferring via Bluetooth is easy. But I don’t recommend it

There is no need to download anything, you only need permission:
0. On Mac, activate the toggle switch along the path Settings > Basic > General access > Bluetooth sharing [ВКЛ].
1. Turn on Bluetooth on Mac and Android smartphone
2. On your smartphone, when prompted by Bluetooth, connect to your Mac.
3. On a Mac, a set of numbers is created for verification. Click “To plug”.
Done, the files can be sent.
If an error occurs during transmission, on the way from the destination 0 click on the circle with the letter i to the right of “Bluetooth sharing” and make sure next to “While receiving items» selected «Accept and save” or “I ask what to do“
In the same project on Mac, you can configure where incoming files will be saved. I have a folder with downloads, for example.
This method is recommended only for transferring light images up to 0.5 MB in size. The data transfer speed drops sharply to 50 KB/s after starting and taking photos with endless video processing.
But there are no such problems via cable.
Files arrive instantly over the wire

The means used here are unlimited. If you plug the cable into the Mac, nothing will happen. The computer will prompt you to accept something or read the device behind the storage.
Download and install the official Android File Transfer program from Google. It was created specifically for this task.
How to use:
1. Download the app
2. Open AndroidFileTransfer.dmg
3. Drag Android File Transfer to Programs
4. Connect your smartphone to your Mac via cable
5. Unlock your smartphone and select “Transferring files»
6. Appendix “Double Cooperation Officer” Android File Transfer on Mac
7. In a Mac window, browse and drag the files you want.
Essentially, we install the program, connect the unlocked smartphone to the Mac, open the application, give permission and copy what is needed on the computer.
For your information, the method also works. Just drag the file from your Mac to the desired location on your smartphone.
Copying will be at high speed – this applies to cables and ports on your Mac and smartphone.
