Arab scientists have created a neural network that precisely imitates human writing. To train the model, you only need a small fragment of handwritten text.
Scientists at the Muhammad bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in the United Arab Emirates have created a neural network that, based on a person’s handwritten text, can imitate their handwriting. This is indicated on the university website.
Several paragraphs of handwritten text are required to train the model. Currently, the neural network works in English and French, but now scientists are training it in Arabic.
According to the survey results, 80% of respondents considered the writing created by the neural network to be similar to real writing.
To eliminate the risks of using fake writing, scientists are also developing a neural network that can distinguish simulated writing from real writing.
