Now the heirs are liable for the debts of the deceased, including credit, jointly, each in proportion to their share in the inheritance. A period of six months has been established for the heirs to enter the inheritance.

The current legislation does not prohibit the heirs of the deceased from filing demands for payment of debts and fines under consumer loan agreements before concluding an inheritance.

Therefore, there are cases when lenders require heirs to pay fines, penalties and penalties accrued for improper fulfillment of credit obligations by a borrower who could not repay the loan because he died.

If adopted, the law will take effect on the date of its official publication.
