It was revealed that popular applications such as YouTube, Spotify and Netflix will not have Vision Pro-specific versions at launch. This means that, at best, users will only be able to use the iPad versions of these apps.

According to MacStories, none of the 46 most popular apps on the App Store will be available as native options on launch day, and only a third will be available in compatibility mode.

For example, YouTube and Spotify decided not to support Vision Pro at all. A YouTube spokesperson said users will be able to use YouTube in Safari on the Vision Pro at launch.

A Spotify spokesperson said the company has not announced plans for the Vision Pro and does not plan to include the iPad app on the device at launch, according to Bloomberg.

The most popular social media applications such as Instagram, Threads, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok have also stopped supporting Vision Pro for now. However, users will be able to order Uber or Uber Eats through Vision Pro.
