Moscow’s Tagansky District Court fined Wink 2 million rubles for the lack of age markings on materials depicting LGBT* scenes.
“Restream Media LLC was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 2 of Art. 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and an administrative penalty was imposed in the form of an administrative fine of 2 million rubles (two million rubles),” says a message on the Telegram channel “Courts of General Jurisdiction of the City of Moscow.
It is not specified which online cinema materials contained violations. In early August, a St. Petersburg court found Wink guilty of a crime under the same article. Then the fine amounted to 1 million rubles.

In addition, Roskomnadzor considered Rostelecom, which previously owned Wink, responsible for the demonstration of LGBT materials.
*On November 30, 2023, the Supreme Court of Russia recognized an extremist organization and banned the “international LGBT social movement.”
