The Turkish holding company Rönesans Holding sold its business in the Russian Federation and redeployed investments in projects in other countries, according to a company report studied by RBC.
Rönesans Holding is a construction and contracting holding company that has been operating in Russia since 1993.
In its report, the company reflected its intentions to pursue an “ambitious strategy” of expansion and growth around the world. After ceasing its activities in the Russian Federation, the holding company will direct its investments to new countries and areas.
Rönesans Holding leverages its expertise in healthcare, commercial construction and energy transition to develop new markets. The company sold its construction business in the Russian Federation in 2022 and its real estate business in summer 2023.
In Russia, the Renaissance Construction holding structure acted as general contractor for the Evolution and Federation towers in the city of Moscow, the Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg and the Gazprom headquarters. After leaving the Russian Federation, the holding company will direct its investments to the CIS countries, in particular Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
