Lei Jun now plans to focus on the development of Xiaomi’s automotive business, especially preparing for the launch of the Xiaomi SU7 electric car, which has already undergone road tests.

In his post on the Weibo social network, Lei Jun emphasized that the development of smartphones will continue to be a priority for the company, but Xiaomi is also actively developing other areas, including automotive.

The general manager duties will now be held by Lu Weibing, who is not the last person in the company.
