In Dubai, Wheely will reportedly begin offering users rides in the BMW 5 and Mercedes-Benz V, and members of the Wheely Membership program will be able to hail a Mercedes Benz S.

In the future, the company intends to add BMW i5 electric vehicles to its fleet. According to CNBC, they are cheaper than other electric models in the SUV segment, such as the Mercedes-Benz EQE and Tesla Model at $66.8 thousand.

According to Chirkunov, Wheely planned to enter the Dubai market in 2021, but these plans were hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic: then the flow of orders decreased by 99%.

The businessman also noted that Dubai is a center of attraction for “wealthy businessmen emigrating from Europe, as well as for young digital nomads.”

The company’s website also states that the company plans to create more than a thousand jobs in Dubai.

Wheely is a premium service for calling a personal driver through an app. The company was founded in 2010 by Anton Chirkunov and is based in London. The service is also presented in Paris, Dubai, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. During the entire period of operation, the project has attracted investments of 43 million dollars.
