Spammers also sent so-called Nigerian letters (extorting money under the pretext of paying fines or receiving an inheritance), committed SMS fraud, extracted confirmation codes and offered users to buy photographs in the name of girls, even trying to switch to third parties. -party messengers.

Last year, Odnoklassniki specialists managed to reduce the amount of spam to zero. At the end of December, the proportion of social media users who experienced or were able to encounter such activity fell below 0.5% of the social network’s total daily audience. This is the minimum value of the last five years.

Additionally, experts also managed to stop more than 9 million suspicious account logins. Up to 90% of possible attacks are automatically detected and blocked. In 2023, OK blocked suspicious users or partially limited their access to the site more than 7 million times.

  • In November 2023, Odnoklassniki launched a machine learning-based model that limits intrusive dating and communication with unwanted interlocutors on the social network. To protect users, OK analyzes real-time social interactions between unknown users and divides them into categories.
