Trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange was suspended due to a hardware error on the main server. This is stated in a statement from the commercial platform.
“According to the procedures of the Exchange, in case of such an error, a transition to a backup server is made, which takes a little more than an hour,” the press service of the Moscow Stock Exchange said.
The Moscow Stock Exchange stopped trading at 1:58 PM Moscow time. There was no warning about the trading halt; It was sudden. The negotiation resumed at 15:45 Moscow time.
During the suspension of trading in the stock market, trading in other markets on the site was carried out normally.
