Traditionally, porting CUDA-based programs to the AMD HIP/ROCm platform required developer effort, even with tools like HIPIFY. ZLUDA changes this by providing binary compatibility at the library level. This means you can “plug in” your existing Nvidia CUDA application and run it on AMD Radeon without making any changes to the source code.

For everyday users, ZLUDA means a wider range of compatible software for tasks such as scientific computing, machine learning and creative applications. You no longer need to wait for developers to port their programs from CUDA; Just install ZLUDA and enjoy.

ZLUDA is dual Apache 2.0 or MIT licensed and uses the Rust programming language. You can view the project’s open source code in the GitHub repository.
