Just before death, a person may experience hallucinations. They seem very realistic, so if the experience is positive then nothing bad will happen, but a negative near-death experience can increase the fear of death and even lead to psychological trauma.

There are three types of negative experiences a person has before death. These are memories that are not perceived positively; an afterlife full of torture and pain for people; emptiness and “nothing”.

However, most people state that they experience positive memories in such moments. These memories help them realize the joy of life. For example, they see all the moments of life “swimming” before their eyes or they see the light at the end of the tunnel. As a result, the person experiences a feeling of calmness, lightness and freedom.

Most neuropsychologists believe that near-death experiences are images of a dying brain. Moreover, you don’t have to die to experience this. It is known that experienced Buddhist monks can have a similar experience. But all of them had meditated for 20 years or more before this, often for several hours.
