Starting April 5, the minimum commission for promoters is reduced from 7.5% to 4.9%. This was announced by the director of the Domclick division, Alexey Leipi, during the Domclick Digital Day conference, his words were cited by Forbes.

As Leipi points out, if the transaction is made through the Domklik platform, no commission will be charged. The bank also waived commission requirements for access to preferential mortgages for partners whose construction projects are financed by Sberbank.

In addition, subsidy requirements for the bank’s salaried customers have been waived. The changes took effect at the end of March and Domklik notes that they caused a doubling of the flow of mortgage applications.

Previously, Sberbank, the leader in this direction, was behind VTB in terms of the number of preferential mortgages issued in March. The share of the latter increased to 34%, Sber took second place with 33%. The dynamics were probably influenced by VTB’s decision to completely waive commissions to developers. The bank canceled it at the end of February, although it had previously stated that issuing without commission was not profitable.

Domklik admitted that they could also waive commissions to promoters, but only depending on the results of the development, together with Dom.RF and the government, of other mechanisms that protect the interests of the banks. Sber also previously noted the unprofitability of preferential mortgages after the reduction of state subsidies.
