According to scientists, Italy this year faced a drought after the last ice. One of its most dangerous consequences is the rapid shallowing of rivers, including a large one.

For originates in the Kotsky Alps and above more than 650 km flows into the Adriatic Sea. In the oral cavity of a severe water deficit from under the surface of the water, the remains of a sunken one began to appear here.

One of them – the 48-meter barge “Zibello”, which during the Second World War was used to transport timber, rested at the bottom in the distant 1943. The wreckage was photographed and published by amateur photographer Alessio Bonin using his drone.

The main cause of catastrophic drought is global climate change. According to the Associated Press, in the north of Italy, there has not been a day of rain for almost four months, that is, by 70% 70%. However, due to the increased air temperature, the rate of melting of alpine glaciers has increased. As a result, the surrounding rivers do not receive the necessary inflow of water.

According to Meuccio Berselli, taking control of the Po River, in the area of one of the villages involved, the flow decreased from 2,142,000 to 360,000 liters per second. Water supply, irrigation fields and hydroelectric power station are connected.
