Xiaomi introduced the flagship 14 Ultra in China, which received many improvements over the 13 Ultra.
The 14 Ultra is 3 grams lighter than the 13 Ultra because its frame is made of grade 5 titanium (like the iPhone 15 Pro). The camera module on the back side remains on the same table, but now only it sticks out. The body of the smartphone is completely flat, there are no steps like in the 13 Ultra.
The main page of Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a set of cameras:
▪️ Basics 50 MP, 1-inch sensor with aperture from f/1.63 to f/4.0
▪️ Ultra wide with 122° viewing angle and f/1.8 aperture
▪️ Telephoto lens with 3.2X optical zoom and f/1.8 aperture
▪️ Periscope with 5X optical zoom and f/2.5 aperture.
Both zoom cameras use macro photography.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra can shoot videos in 4K 120fps on the main camera, as well as 4K 60fps on all cameras and 8K 30fps on all cameras.
The 32 MP front camera supports artificial intelligence to improve the equipment, but how it works in the presentation of life will become known after the first reviews.
On the front there is a 6.73-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels. There are 120 Hz, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The peak brightness of the display is 3000 nits. The corners of the screen are slightly curved on all sides.
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 12/16 GB of RAM. The smartphone runs HyperOS, based on Android 14.
There is a 5300 mAh battery installed inside. The power device has wired charging from 90 W and wireless charging up to 80 W.
The USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps. The smartphone itself is protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
In China, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will support satellite communications.
For the 14 Ultra, the company introduced the Leica Pro Kit. This is a special grip that turns your smartphone into a real camera. The Leica Pro Kit has a shutter button for photos and videos, as well as wheels for adjusting aperture, ISO, white balance and zoom.
In addition, a 1500 mAh battery is built into the handle, which charges the smartphone via USB-C. Leica Pro Kit costs 699 yuan or 9 thousand rubles.
