Goats and sheep. Most animals with horizontal pupils are herbivores. This pupil provides an almost 360-degree viewing angle.
Cats. Their pupils can vary, so they can see very well in the dark. In addition, the slit-shaped pupil is usually characteristic of those who hunt day and night, while the round pupil is characteristic of those who pursue prey.
People. The round pupil makes it possible to distinguish small details and look far or near. Also this pupil shape is found mostly in tall predators.
