Previously, Google Photos on Android used its own sharing menu that offered options like “Create Link” alongside the standard app icons. However, with the new update, Google Photos uses the native Android 14 sharing sheet.
The new Share Sheet has a cleaner interface that displays a preview of selected images at the top. Below is a list of frequently used actions
The new share sheet is currently rolling out to all Pixel phones running Android 14, including the Pixel Fold running version 6.71 of the Google Photos app. However, it is not yet available on other devices running Android 14, such as Pixel Tablets and Samsung phones.
