In 2023, the average cost of smartphones, tablets and laptops will increase by 10–15%. iPhones have risen in price the most – by 37%, to an average of 100 thousand rubles.
Laptops with a screen diagonal of 12-17 inches increased in price by 13%, to 61 thousand rubles. The average cost of smartphones increased by 9% and amounted to 16.5 thousand rubles. Smartphones from other brands added 10-18% to the price.
The rise in prices is due to exchange rates, an increase in the key rate of the Central Bank, as well as problems with logistics in the Red Sea due to the Houthis’ shelling of merchant ships.
