Windows 11 Moment 5: check out the main new features of the update

Microsoft is getting closer to releasing a new update for Windows 11. focused on improvements to system native programs and minor features. The compilation titled “Moment 5” is expected to be released between the end of February and the beginning of March.

The update, which brings some new features already available to testers, should include, for example: widget improvements. With the changes, the user will be able to disable news and receive a more descriptive dialog, as well as noticing other changes.

There will also be changes to the “Instant Layouts” feature. New recommendations for arranging open windows. The Settings app will let you edit the device name displayed when “Nearby sharing” is enabled, which will also have more options for third-party apps and automatic activation of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Copilot-related changes are other new features of Windows 11 Moment 5. AI button will be in the bottom right cornerbut it is possible to change the position in the taskbar customization and there will be the possibility to resize the source window.

Accessibility improvements and other changes

Windows 11 Moment 5 update includes: Custom shortcuts for voice access, creating different commands for multiple simultaneous actions, new language support and multiple monitors. More natural voices are available in the Narrator app, and you can listen to them before making a selection, as well as improvements in rendering image descriptions.

Other highlights include operating system repair via Windows Update, a new folder in the Start menu that brings together recently added apps and improvements to screen casting in case of errors. It is also worth mentioning the improvements in Microsoft 365 integration.

What is Windows 11 Moment 5?

Windows 11’s Moment 5 update is the next major update to Microsoft’s operating system. It is not yet clear when it will be released, but it is estimated to be available for the entire user base in early March.
