During a Meet the Experts webinar, AMD’s Memory Activation Manager Joseph Tao gave more information about the upcoming Zen 4 processors. According to Tao, the alleged Ryzen 7000 series will excel in the memory overclocking space.

Raphael is Team Red’s first ddr5 desktop platform for gamers. The manufacturer wants to take a big step in overclocking with this generation. Without going into details, the memory expert talks about “potential speeds you may not have thought possible.”

In addition to higher speeds, ddr5 should also offer more options in terms of capacity.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that AMD was working on Ryzen Accelerated Memory Profiles. RAMP will be the counterpart of Intel XMP 3.0 and will store compatible ddr5 overclocking profiles on the memory modules themselves, with higher speeds and tighter frequencies. It is unclear whether RAMP will be able to deliver these impressive speeds.
