To listen to records, you need a vinyl player, which should not be so easy to choose due to the popularity of a wide variety of brands and models.
Recently, Alive Audio SYMPHONY came to us for a review, which I will be happy to talk about below. I liked that it’s not even a player, but The entire music center with two speakers included. Here’s what he can do:
● suitable for any recordsdoses up to vintage “forty-five”
● has a customizable tonearm and anti-skating
● Allows you to adjust the wind speed platter
● can digitize records directly to a flash drive
● built-in Bluetooth turns the player into a wireless audio system
Alive Audio SYMPHONY comes with two speakers 15 W I can, so I have enough stock. Let’s add here the complete removable cartridge Audio Technica AT 3600L, which Allows you to reveal the sound of almost any recordingas well as a heavy and non-vibrating MDF case, and get a functional and reliable one for a wide range of audio enthusiasts.
The main thing is that the whole set costs 22,990 rubles. The combination of price and quality, just how we like it.
Let’s take a closer look at the appearance and equipment:
Classic design is always relevant
Unassembled player. It is necessary to install the support disk, adjust the counterweights and attach the tonearm cartridge with the stylus.
In the box, along with the turntable and speakers, you can find a support plate due to damage (heavy) with a drive belt already installed.
There is also a rubber slipmat, an RCA cable, a weight for adjusting the tonearm, and an adapter for listening to very old records with a one-and-a-half inch center hole.
It’s unlikely that anyone now has such records, but these historical documents can easily be included in your grandfather’s collection.

The circular recess in the upper left serves as storage for an adapter for playing old records with a large central hole.
To prepare the music center, you need to install a plate on a wooden support, connect it with drive shaft engine with a rubber band.
Then place a rubber mat on the support plate, attach the stylus cartridge to the tonearm and install the counterweight.
This is useful: Along with the usual instructions, the Alive Audio SYMPHONY kit includes a guide for setting up the counterweight, which will definitely come in handy for beginning vinyl lovers.
The video button controls are located next to the tonearm in a neat block. Everything is signed and it is clear who is responsible for what.
Next to the buttons there is a control for adjusting the speed of rotation of the computer. The player has three wind speeds – 33.3, 45 and 78 rpm.

Block of control buttons, anti-skating controls and Internet speed settings.
Another round regulator is located at the base of the tonearm and is responsible for reducing anti-skating, which results in the stylus sliding off the side of the record.
The speakers are connected to tulip-type connectors on the back wall of the player body. Here you can find connectors such as:
● two RCA connectors for connection to speakers
● two connectors for connecting to an external amplifier or in-line device
● on/off lever built-in phono stage
● USB port for connecting a flash drive (for digitizing records)
● permanent cable nutrition
Connectors on the back of the player.
The speakers themselves are two-way, each with a tweeter with a paper cone and a main speaker hidden inside a wooden case.
A round bass reflex port is installed on the back wall of each speaker. The wires in the column are not removable.

The design of the player is completed with a transparent dust cover. In personal observation, to improve sound quality, it is better to connect if you plan to connect the speakers close to the sides of the player.
It remains to note that the total weight of Alive Audio SYMPHONY together with speakers is 19.8 kgwhich is comparable to more expensive sets of conventional audit systems.
Decent player in a classic design
Alive Audio SYMPHONY is a well-designed music center at a reasonable price. The player does not create extraneous sounds or rattles during operation, has a nice design without unnecessary “eyes”, is easy to set up and is easy to use.
The volume is enough for comfortable listening to vinyl records in a room of almost any size. We were pleasantly pleased with the sound quality: all frequencies sound in our places and do not change into a mess.
And most importantly – no accents on high and mid frequencies, as sometimes happens in mid-level acoustics. The sound is quite dense, primarily thanks to the included MM cartridge, which has a head with a moving magnet.
Yes, it’s not hi-fibut warm lamp, I would even say “vintage” (By highlighting the mid and bass signal), the sound is present, you can listen to music for a long time, there are no complaints about the sound.
It’s nice that I purchased Alive Audio SYMPHONY for RUB 22,990. you are truly a complete set for listening to records and digitizing them, as well as wireless speakers in one box. There is no need to buy anything in addition, everything is already included in the kit.
Due to my departure, it was difficult for me to support labels from Russia, listen to my favorite artists and discover new wonderful bands through streaming services. So it is not surprising that vinyl records are now experiencing an extraordinary surge in popularity, at least to a lesser extent in our country.
So Alive Audio SYMPHONY will definitely appeal to both beginners and experienced fans of storing music in vinyl format for its simplicity, comfort and appearance.
