The exact launch dates for the record are unknown, but work on it could likely take between six months and a year, Izvestia has learned.

Contractors for the development of the updated system will be selected from Russian developers. The new version will take into account the greatest amount of content, as well as the content of copyright holders in the field of music and books.

  • Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and Sony Music suspended operations in Russia following the start of a special operation in Ukraine in February 2022. The departure of foreign music services increased the audience of illegal platforms by almost 10% in August . People over 30, who listen to music in albums rather than playlists, are more likely to turn to pirates.
