In Russia, a new version of the anti-piracy registry is being developed on the Media and Communications Union site. The holders of copyrights of musical and literary works will be linked to it. Additionally, a software update is planned.

The exact launch dates for the record are unknown, but work on it could likely take between six months and a year, Izvestia has learned.
Contractors for the development of the updated system will be selected from Russian developers. The new version will take into account the greatest amount of content, as well as the content of copyright holders in the field of music and books.
