According to Blumer, permanent thermonuclear fusion occurs on the Sun, releasing heat that creates certain conditions from Venus to the orbit of Mars. The Sun also orbits the eight planets and countless other objects in the solar system.

However, there will come a time when, according to the astronomer, this will happen after 5.5 billion years, when the hydrogen and thermonuclear fusion necessary for combustion in the core of the star will cease to occur due to the depletion of resources in the Sun. In other words, fusion will stop, but as gravity weakens, the Sun will begin to heat up and helium atoms will stick together. After that, the star’s core will begin to collapse under the influence of its own gravity.

When the outer layers collapse, the pressure and temperature will rise so high that these layers will begin to convert helium atoms into carbon. The burst of energy will cause the Sun to expand hundreds of times and transform from a white astronomical body into a red-hot astronomical body.

And this process will inevitably lead to the destruction of the solar system. The Earth will either be swallowed by the Sun or turn into a lifeless ball without water due to the severe temperature increase.
