In March last year, French group ADEO, owner of DIY retailer Leroy Merlin, decided to transfer its Russian business to local management.
The company’s press service reported that the name of the legal entity will be changed as part of the transfer of the business to the management. They added that we are talking about changing the name without changing the legal entity.
The chain will continue to operate in the country as usual; No decision has yet been made on the rebrand.
ADEO previously noted that the business transfer procedure will not affect the company’s activities in the country. Employees will keep their jobs, agreements with partners will remain in force.
