There was instability in Banco Inter’s systems this Thursday (07). Customers even complained about not being able to access their account balances through the app.

Many people took to social media to say that money, mostly from investments, had “disappeared”.

“More than 3 thousand reais disappeared from my Inter account! I almost had a heart attack. I feel sick!” wrote Herbert Gomes on X (formerly Twitter).

“From what I’ve seen on Twitter, I’m not the only one whose Banco Inter disappeared with some of the deposited money,” another user said.

Banco Inter acknowledged the problem

Responding to some users on social media, Banco Inter’s official profile acknowledged the problems.

“Hello Viktor! Visualization of only some of the investments is not available, but our team is already working to resolve this as soon as possible,” the financial institution was quoted as saying to a client.

For now, the bank did not provide further details about the failure and did not make any predictions about the normalization of instability.

In addition to social media, some bank customers also voiced the issue on the Reclame Aqui page. Banco Inter made the following statement to warn people: “Investment Balance: If you are having difficulty viewing your investments, we would like to inform you that our support team is already working. We ask you to wait and try again later.”
