“The production line has never been considered the main one for SMEs, small businessmen focus more on the resale of goods. However, the situation is changing before our eyes, the production volume of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as their number, increased noticeably in 2023; In 2024 we will see a further strengthening of the trend,” said Askar Rakhimberdiev. , CEO of MoySklad.
According to him, the factors contributing to the growth were the exit of Western companies from the market, rising incomes, the reformatting of supply chains, the flexibility of small businesses and increased competition.
For the study, analysts evaluated 10 thousand manufacturing companies that were service clients located throughout the Russian Federation. The billing of companies for 2022 and 2023 by region was studied, as well as the products they produce.
