Starting March 7, 2024, the conversion fee for replenishing the Steam wallet has been increased from 8% to 10%. Additionally, users of third-party banks now have to pay an additional 50 rubles with each renewal.

Information about the commission on the official website of MTS Bank has not yet been updated, but the support service confirmed that the increase in the commission is intentional and not connected with errors.

Elexnet also increased its Steam deposit commission to 10%. The reason for the increase in fees is probably due to the cancellation of the license from QIWI Bank, which was previously one of the most popular ways to replenish the Steam wallet.

In any case, remember: before replenishing your Steam balance, you need to carefully examine all commissions and fees.
