Porsche has announced its most famous electric car (and one of the most powerful car companies in history) – the Taycan Turbo GT.
The new product accelerates to “hundreds” in 2.3 seconds, with a top speed of 290 km/h. There is also a Weissach package. With it, acceleration is reduced to 2.2 seconds, and the peak speed reaches 305 km/h.
The standard Porsche Taycan Turbo GT is all-wheel drive. It is equipped with a twin-engine power plant with a maximum power of 580 kW (789 hp). In Launch Control mode, power increases to 760 kW (1,033 hp) for ten seconds. And in the special Attack Mode, the power reaches 815 kW (1008 hp) in 2 seconds.

The electric car has an active magnetic suspension and special 21-inch wheels with improved ventilation of the brake discs. There are carbon-ceramic brakes PCCB (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brake), and the calipers are painted gold.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT has a lot of carbon fiber parts, so it is almost 75 kg lighter than the Taycan Turbo S.
At the beginning of the year, the electric car completed a lap around the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes 7 seconds, setting a world record for electric sedans.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT costs from $136 thousand to $232 thousand, depending on the configuration. [Motor1]
