The Federal Antimonopoly Service opened a case against the airline S7. Previously, the FAS issued a warning to the airline requiring it to develop and submit a pricing policy for approval.

FAS previously revealed that Siberia Airlines JSC offers tickets at different prices within the same fare class. The cost differences are not related to the provision of additional services on board.
According to the regulator, the airline has not developed a commercial policy that determines the pricing principles. As indicated in the service message, the document that S7 was to provide was intended to establish tariffs for the transportation of passengers at an economically viable level. Airlines were also ordered to come up with uniform rules for permissible fare deviations.
“The carrier did not comply with the department’s warning and also attempted to challenge its legality. However, the court supported the position of the FAS Russia,” the regulator said in a statement.
In relation to the court decision, the FAS initiated proceedings against the company. If he is proven guilty, the carrier faces a fine.
At the beginning of autumn it became known that the S7 would reduce the number of flights in autumn and winter by 10-15% due to problems “with the planned maintenance of the” Airbus A320/A321neo aircraft.
