The Moscow Venture investment fund and the Zerno Ventures fund each invested 10 million rubles in the YouTool construction tool rental service. This was announced by the head of the department of entrepreneurship and innovative development of Moscow, Alexei Fursin.
YouTool currently has 50 tool rental outlets in Moscow. The company plans to scale up to 800 points.
At YouTool tool rental service, you can rent a jackhammer, ladder, drill and other tools. Order and delivery take no more than 30 minutes, there is the possibility of picking it up. You can place an order in the service app.
More than 15,000 transactions have been made on the YouTool platform in two years, the company said.
“Our task is to turn one in three buyers into tenants by 2025,” said Yevgeny Gaffarov, founder of the YouTool service.
YouTool participated in the StartHub.Moscow accelerator. Within its framework, the service multiplied its income tenfold and tripled the number of instrument rental points.
The YouTool service is operated by Genesis LLC. According to data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, in 2022 the company received income in the amount of 3.6 million rubles, a net loss amounted to 7.3 million rubles.
