Startups that are registered in the register of small technology companies (STC) will be able to obtain the status of participant in the Skolkovo project without undergoing an exam. This is stated in the background message.

The decision to simplify the procedure for obtaining the status of a participant in MTK was made by the board of directors of the fund and will come into force after the agreement with the board of directors of Skolkovo.
The presence of a company in the MTC register provides simplified access to support measures and makes it possible to minimize the collection of documents. The fund’s board of directors also supported the proposal to give project participants in the MTC registry an advantage in receiving microgrants.
On the same day, March 12, the Ministry of Economic Development approved the first measure of financial support to the MTC: they received the right to preferential loans at 3% with an increased limit of up to one billion rubles.
