SpaceX launched the Starship superheavy rocket into space. The launch took place at 16:25 Moscow time in Boca Chica, Texas, USA, and was broadcast live on SpaceX’s YouTube channel.

Starship flight is unmanned and essentially suborbital. This is the third comprehensive flight test of the system.

The Starship rocket system is designed for missions to the Moon and Mars. It consists of the Ship 28 spacecraft and the Super Heavy launch vehicle. The height of the system is 121 meters and the load capacity reaches 150 tons.

The successful launch of Starship was achieved only on the third attempt. The first launch in April 2023 was not carried out due to a technical error. During the second launch, the rocket exploded three minutes after launch.
