Researchers asked participants how much time they spent playing video games and what health problems they had experienced over the course of a year. Almost all participants noted that discomfort appeared and well-being worsened when the time scale in the game approached three hours.

Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that as the frequency of gaming increased, the negative consequences for the survey participants themselves increased. If the game lasted three hours or more at a time, players were more likely to experience visual fatigue and pain in the wrists, arms, back, and neck. What happened regardless of age and gender.
