Awaiting the official announcement of the refreshed Radeon RX 6050 cards, Twitterer Momomo_us spotted the Radeon RX 6950 XT in several Australian online stores. Specifically, it pertains to Gigabyte’s version of Gaming OC, which can now be found on ITNest and MegaBuy. Although no one has the card in stock, there is already talk of a high price tag.

For example, this sku costs 3,241 and 3,320 Australian dollars or 2,216 and 2,270 euros, respectively. This corresponds to the suggested retail price of the RTX 3090 Ti (EUR 2,249), but these are most likely placeholder prices. While both retailers use the code GV-R695XTGAMING-OC-16GD, the title reads RX 6900 XT. In any case, it is an additional indication that the RX 6050 XT series is on the way.

The regular Gigabyte Radeon RX 6900 Gaming OC can be purchased right now for 1,307 Euros.

Currently, it looks like the first SKUs will be released on May 10. Both the RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT and 6650 XT are expected to be equipped with faster 18Gbps memory, the new flagship is also expected to have a higher boost clock and a boosted TDP. It’s unclear whether AMD wants to make similar changes to cheaper models.
