The Moscow City Court remanded blogger and businessman Ayaz Shabutdinov into custody until April 16. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

Shabutdinov’s lawyers asked the court to transfer him to house arrest or release him on bail in the amount of 10 million rubles, but the court refused.

Ayaz Shabutdinov is accused of major fraud. On November 3, a criminal case was opened against the businessman and on November 4 he was placed in a preventive detention center.
