Mini-applications have appeared in the RuStore application store that do not need to be downloaded to the device, the press service reports in a statement. To use the services, it is enough to have a VK ID account.

RuStore now has applets that do not need to be updated

Currently, the store’s catalog has 4,000 mini-applications and games of this type. They are in the “Mini” section. The catalog contains both VK applications and products from third-party developers.

To quickly launch everyday services, applications can be added to the home screen. No need to upgrade services; this happens automatically. Additionally, the services do not take up additional space on your device.

According to Oleg Afanasyev, product director at RuStore, applets provide developers with an additional platform to interact with users.

Late last year, RuStore introduced the opportunity for developers to add videos and announce events. A new feature format has appeared in the app store: in-game events.
