Retailer X5 Group has developed and implemented a warehouse management system at its production site. Nexus WMS helps the company automate business processes, the X5 press service reports.
Around 85% of warehouse operations have been transferred to the new system, including goods acceptance, voice picking, route management and vehicle loading. The implementation of the system has already made it possible to speed up the process of reserving goods for picking three times.
Currently, Nexus WMS is used in four distribution centers “Pyaterochka” and “Perekrestkov” in different cities of Russia. The new system is expected to be expanded to all network centers in mid-2025 or early 2026.
