MTS has launched a platform to combat telephone fraud. Several banks are currently testing it. TASS writes about this referring to the company.

The platform allows banks to receive real-time data on suspicious activities based on nearly 100 different factors.
Previously, these systems could take into account several factors, for example, only replacement figures, said the head of MTS Big Data, Viktor Kantor. The company itself states that thanks to the platform, the accuracy in identifying fraudulent activities has increased by 45%.
The anti-fraud system tells banks the number of subscribers who are subject to telephone fraud and then analyzes them using two models. The first is a profile of the customer based on their actions, and the second model analyzes the flow of events, calls, messages, etc., identifying patterns that scammers use.
- In December 2022, the Main Radio Frequency Center of Roskomnadzor launched a unified phone call verification platform (EPVV) “Antifrod”. The system is necessary to combat telephone scammers.
