Unlike standard 3DMark, Procyon AI is aimed at commercial users and costs $5,000.

The comparison is based on the Stable Diffusion XL model for rendering. Tests of mid-range accelerators are carried out at a lower resolution (512 x 512 pixels), and high-end solutions are tested at 1024 x 1024 pixels.

Procyon AI developers promise objective results thanks to DirectML, NVIDIA TensorRT and Intel OpenVIN and ONNX API support.

Such a high price could scare away not only enthusiasts but also tech bloggers, which would limit the usability and impact of the new benchmark.
